Tavistock Titans Toppled
The first road game of the regular season for the boys was a great one.

The Thanksgiving holiday weekend meant the team had to travel to Tavistock without goalie Tristin and defenseman Lyle, so Coach Eric asked goalie Aiden Bucko and forward Nick Smart to help us out.  Ethan "Dual Duty" Scaman played on the blue line for this game.  Aiden and Nick fit in perfectly and helped the Tornados spin to a 6 - 1 victory over the Titans.  Aiden made a couple of clutch saves and Nick Smart bashed a loose puck in front of the net past the sprawling Tavistock goalie.

The line changes got back on track this game with - Coach Eric and Coach Greg both say that if the boys go hard they'll actually want to come off after 30 seconds to a minute to get a rest!

The defense again played great by keeping the puck in the offensive end - one of the goals came after a great pinch by Griffen Vincent where he sacrificed the body to keep the puck in - he was rewarded with an assist on the play.

The winner of the golden jersey for this game is Ethan Scaman for helping the team out by filling the big skates of Lyle Collins and doing a great job in the process.  Congrats Ethan!

Next game is at the crack of 8:00am in Calendonia to kick off the Challenge Cup Tournament - it should be a great one!
