2021 Bob Tansley Memorial-Arena Entry
Tournament Daily Entry Covid Guidelines

ALL Spectators enter via the East Entrance only, these are the sliding doors on the NE end of the building by the outdoor rink. Each day, once your screening/vaccine verification has been completed you will receive a bracelet – this will allow you re-enter as many times as you like that day.   ·

ALL Teams and Referees will enter via the Collin Campbell entrance (south west side of the building on Hardy Ave). Coaches will be responsible to screen and verify vaccination status of their own players/team bench staff and volunteers (12+) using the screening/verify sheet provided. Once screening/verify sheet is handed in for first game all team personnel will receive a bracelet, this bracelet will be their proof of their vaccination being verified by the coach and association and will allow them in and out privileges for the weekend at both doors.

OMHA VACCINATION POLICY (V2) Sec 4.  All Affected Persons are required to be Fully Vaccinated (i.e.: including the 14-day period after receiving their completed dose) by October 31, 2021 or earlier. All Affected Persons must present to their Association designate, as applicable, evidence satisfactory to the OMHA demonstrating that they have received the completed series of an Accepted COVID-19 Vaccine.

Use of the screening/verify sheet provided to all teams. Please try and come prepared with 5-6 copies of your prepopulated form. If you have a player arriving late a member of your team’s bench staff will have to remain at the entrance to complete the screening process. Once screening/verify sheet is handed in no other players can be added to the sheet.

LOWER LEVEL – Colin Campbell Entrance: Only Team Staff/Players, Referees and Tournament staff will be permitted on the lower level.  Once all participants have been fully cleared and verified to enter the facility hand screening sheet into the staff member at the door upon entering the building. This needs to be done for every game played. Town of Tillsonburg staff will allow your team to enter Lower Level a min of 30 minutes prior to game time. Once your game ends please exit lower level in a timely manner to allow the next teams in. All personal/team items must be removed from the facility after each game.

UPPER LEVEL/VIEWING AREA – East Entrance: To access the upper level all spectators over 12 must sign in and show proof of vaccination, ID to Town of Tillsonburg staff prior to entering the upper level of the facility unless already verified at the players/coach’s door. Each day, once your screening/vaccine verification has been completed you will receive a bracelet – this will allow you re-enter as many times as you like that day.

Digital copy or photo copy of ID and vaccine status is acceptable. For youth under 18 and over the age of 12, we recommend them having a picture of their Health Card and Vaccine status on them for entry to the upper level.

Masks must be worn at all times in the facility, except for players during game times, coaches must wear their masks on the bench during games.

Anyone found not wearing a mask will be asked to put one on, any refusal to wear a mask will be asked to leave and will not be permitted to re-enter the building for the duration of the tournament.

Please be patient with Town Staff during entry.

All screening procedures are required as per South West Public Health and the Provincial Government.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this unprecedented time. The children are back on the ice playing normal hockey. Let’s all enjoy these times together.
