Congratulations Old Timers Peewee Rep Team!
Congratulations to the Tillsonburg Old Timers Peewee Rep Team who won the Delhi Tobacco Town Rep Tournament this past weekend, defeating Lambeth 2-1 in the championship game!
The Peewees went 2-0-1 in the round robin
portion of the tournament, defeating Ingersoll 2-0, Simcoe 2-0 and tying
Lambeth 2-2. In the semi-finals, Tillsonburg beat undefeated Delhi 6-3 to
set up a rematch with Lambeth in the finals. The final was a closely
contested game, Lambeth scored a goal early and held a 1-0 lead into the third
period. Tillsonburg tied it up early in the third and scored the game
winner with just over three minutes to play.
