IP Program - Schedules are LIVE!!
IP Families,

    The moment you have all been waiting for is finally here! The schedules are now posted for our youngest players. All 4 divisions have ice scheduled this Saturday, October 9th!

Not sure what division your youngster belongs in? See below the quick guide aligning birth years with divisions:

U5 = Born 2017
U6 = Born 2016
U7 = Born 2015
U8 = Born 2014

Schedules:

** Schedules are posted on the website - you can click on the corresponding division and the calendar will be filtered to show only the division you have selected.
** For our IP teams, schedules usually do remain relatively static, however changes do occur so please subscribe to the calendar to sync it with your own, or have alerts sent to you if there is changes.
** Ice time changes too when tournaments are in town, or holidays etc
** Getting accustomed to watching the schedule and the website will help you stay organized and on top of what is going on.

1st Ice Arrival:

** Please arrive 30 minutes before the first ice time, this will allow us to distribute jersey's and socks and coordinate entry
** After the first ice, players must arrive and be ready to enter the arena 20 minutes before scheduled ice time. It will be very important for everyone to be on time as the volunteers will need every minute of those 20 minutes to get the kids ready to get on the ice

Volunteers:

We will have a Parent and Volunteer meeting this week, just awaiting confirmation of Pavilion booking and we will post the date and time. We are always in need of more volunteers for these age groups - if you have not yet indicated your interest to volunteer you can click here to email us.

Reminders:

** Please have your player come dressed with the exception of skates, gloves and helmet
** The coaches and volunteers will assist your child in getting the skates on and tied and helmets buckled.
** For the youngest players a backpack might be a great idea to put skates, helmet and gloves in so they can manage easily down to the lower level to finish getting ready.
** Please label all sticks and helmets.
** Having your child's name on the front and back of their helmet is a tremendous help to the coaches to communicate with your child.
**All players need to have a mouth guard regardless of age.

Lastly, please ensure your child is prepared to go downstairs with the coaches and not Mom or Dad. Parents will view children from the stands as spectators.

Parent Access Reminders

Only Coaches, Instructors, Participants and Officials will be allowed on the lower level of the facility.  2 additional parent helpers are permitted to assist with skaters under the age of 12. Parent helpers must return to the stands once their skaters are on the ice.

Parents designated to assist with skate tying (for -12) are to be identified by the Coach and their name will be included on the Participant list. No other parents will be permitted downstairs period.

Thank you for your cooperation and getting your kids ready to hit the ice!
