GOLD MEDAL WIN!

The Tillsonburg Tornadoes Peewee Rep team packed all they had for Parry Sound this past weekend as they attended the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Tournament. The boy's consistent effort resulted in them going undefeated through 5 games!

The tournament got underway Friday night with a game against the Cumberland Jr Grads.  Tillsonburg didn't take any chances in securing their first win, playing hard to the end with an 8-2 victory.

Saturday's morning game put the Tornadoes against the Caledonia Thunder, where a 4-1 win was claimed.  The Saturday afternoon game was met with much anticipation as the boys were eager to set the score straight with the Strathroy Jr. Rockets who had beaten them earlier in the season.  This game ended with a 4-1 win putting Tillsonburg in first place, which secured their place in the semi-final.

Sunday's semi brought new competition, facing the South Muskoka Bears.  Bells were ringing as Tillsonburg confirmed Championship action by beating the Bears 8-1.

The Championship game ended where we started, facing the Cumberland Jr. Grads for a second time.  The boys put practice into play which made them so exciting to watch as they earned a 7-2 win to become the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Tournament Champions.

Congratulations to Peewee Reps and Coaching staff,  you represented us well!
