Attention all players and bench staff,
Due to an upgrade in the Hockey Canada Registry ALL players and bench staff must have proof of residency and a birth certificate attached to their profile in their Hockey Canada profile.
The proof of residency can be a copy of the parents driver's license or a utility bill as long as the address on the documents match those in the players/staff profile. Some players are also missing birth certificates, you will see that when you login as well.
Please login to your Hockey Canada accounts and check if any documents are missing. You will see the "Missing Documents" flag under the profile and it will list any documents that are needed to upload.
Step 1 : Click here to access the HCR Spordle and login using your same credentials used to register for the season.
Step 2: In the top right hand corner click on the profile icon open your account, if you already on your account page then click on "Members" located on the menu bar on the left hand side. If you are using your phone or other mobile device you will need to click on the 3 dashes beside the "Spordle" logo to open your menu - and you can select "Members" from there.
Step 3: Select each of your participants (Including yourself if you are a bench staff) and review to see if you have the red icon showing Missing documents. If you are viewing on your phone, you will only see the red icon (a paper with a question mark in the middle) in a red circle. Click on the icon and it will tell you what documents are missing.
Step 4: Load any missing documents. Click on the "Documents" tab and upload the necessary proof of residency, or birth certificate based on what documents the tools advises you are missing.
Please note, the HCR is easier to manage from a laptop or PC. But if you only have a phone or mobile device, you can still do it just a little harder to find where to click.
Having the required document is necessary for rosters to be finalized. Any missing documentation will delay a roster from being approved through the OMHA.
