Tyke Red, 2012-2013 (Tillsonburg Minor Hockey Inc.)

Excellent job this year Tyke Red.  You all played great this year.  You could see great improvement in all of your play. For those moving onto Novice next year, best of luck.  For those staying in tyke for another year, best of luck to you as well. We hope you all continue to play hockey and keep striving to get better every game.  It was a pleasure coaching you all. Coachs Jon & Eric.

Great job by the Tyke Red team this weekend in the Simcoe Tournament.  The coaches are extremely proud of the team's effort, especially during the semi-finals and finals.  We are especially proud of the teams defensive play and their passing.  Lots of different scorers and tons of assists for all! Scores for the weekend were: Tillsonburg Red 3 - Simcoe Flyers 3 Tillsonburg Red 5 - New Hamburg 1 Tillsonburg Red 3 - Simcoe Penguins 4 Tillsonburg Red 4 - St. George Red 0 (semi-finals) Tillsonburg Red 4 - Elmvale 5 (finals - in overtime)

Great game from the kids on Saturday! A couple of reminders: 1) Picture night is Monday, November 12.  If possible, please have the players dressed and at the arena a little early to try and get their individual pictures done prior to practice. 2) Excluding November 12 (due to picture night), please don't have the players wear their team jersey's during Monday practices.  The red team jerseys are fine for the Wednesday practices. 3) Team Red does have practice this Wednesday, November 14. If any of the players would like to try playing goalie, please let Coach Eric or Coach Jon ...

Reminder - Tyke Red does not practice the Wednesday.  Our first team practice will be on Wednesday, November 14. Our next time on the ice is this Saturday at 12:30 pm in Port Dover.  If anyone is unable to make the game, please let Jon or Eric know.  Thanks. We will continue to rotate through each player taking a turn as the goalie.  If any of the players can't wait to be goalie, let Eric or Jon know. See you Saturday.
