Team Highlight of the Week: Cowards Bantam Girls Rep Team
Submitted By Ashley Edwards on Monday, May 11, 2020

The girls were in second place with a 5 -1 record after the opening segment of our season. They clinched second place with a record of 10 - 4 at the end of the regular season. During the season:     Won the St Thomas Panthers Tourney in December (4 - 1 record)     Lost in the Finals of the Woodstock Wildcats Tourney in Jan (3 - 2 record)
The girls highlight was winning Silver Stick in South Huron (record 6 - 0)     The girls easily earned a provincial entry (record 4 - 0) and were very much looking         forward to provincials beginning of April (cancelled due to Covid-19)

Cont'd......

A huge Thank you to Cowards for being their sponsor this season!!!

The girls worked extremely hard all season and we couldn't have been more proud of them!

This group of young ladies meshed well from the start and had a lot of fun together!

It was a shame that Covid-19 abruptly ended their season, as they still had a lot of potential

going into Provincials!
