As TMHI continues to organize and plan the future of the 2020-21 hockey season, and the changes that undoubtedly will come rapdily from the OHF, OMHA and Local Public Health Units, TMHI wanted to share some
of our current plans on what the return to game play will look like for both our Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.
Tier 1 Teams
- Playing other Tillsonburg teams as well as a loop that currently includes Ingersoll
- TMHI is waiting to hear from a few other centres within our boundaries and will let you know if that changes
- Games will be posted on your team's calendar shortly
Tier 2 Teams
- Playing other Tillsonburg teams and in some divisions also playing Ingersoll
- This may change over time, TMHI has also reached out to other centres and will let you know if that changes.

As a reminder, TMHI needs to maintain 50 player Cohorts (per provincial regulations), meaning each team will only have 4 other teams within their "bubble" that they will play. With the increased numbers of cases in surrounding areas, Southwestern Public Health and the OMHA will advise TMHI of any changes.
As it stands today the OHF, OMHA, OWHA and TMHI remain in Stage 3B identified in the OHF Return to Hockey framework (July 29, 2020). In order to prepare for the remainder of 2020 TMHI has assumed to remain in Stage 3B for the remainder of 2020. January 2021 may bring changes; but, it is all unknown at this point. A future assessment of the program will be done as details become available.
