Submitted By Tracy Whelan on Monday, September 6, 2021
TMHI Families,

Please find below a list of requirements from the Town of Tillsonburg that we are required to follow for access into the arena.

Please ensure players arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled ice time - all players and parents MUST enter at the same time as a team. Please note the limited dressing room capacity, as some players will not have a dressing room to get ready in.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE.

As a reminder players must sign up for Dust off your skates - please click here for details on signing up for sessions.

o
All coaches/instructors/permit holders will be required to complete and sign off on the covid screening sign in sheet, ensuring each participant/parent/guardian/spectator has passed the screening.

o   Participants as well as parent/guardian/spectators will enter together at the East Entrance 20 minutes prior to their ice time. Social distancing markers have been placed on the ground for your convenience. A TCC staff member will greet you and your participants at the door.

o   Everyone must enter as a group, no late admissions will be allowed

o   Masks must be worn at all times except on the ice surface.

o   A 2M distance must be maintained from everyone not in the same household at all times, including lining up to enter the facility, arena stands, dressing rooms and hallways

o   Only participants (Max of 30 people, including coaches/instructors/voulenteers) will be allowed on the lower level of the facility. Participants are to remain on the lower level of the building

o   2 parents/guardians/spectators per participant will be permitted to view from the arena stands, warm viewing arena will be off limits. Parents/Guardians/Spectators will not be permitted on the lower level of the facility.

o   Limited dressing room space is available (10 participants per room). Some participants will have to arrive dressed and ready for the ice, chairs will be assigned to each participant to put their skates on. Reminder that wheeled skate guards are not allowed in the facility.

o   Dressing room showers are off limits.

o   Directional arrows have been placed throughout the building for everyone to follow.

o   Participants must leave the ice surface promptly at the end of their session. Please ensure that all personal belongings are removed from the benches at the end of each on ice session.

o   Once participants have removed their skates they must leave the facility to allow staff to prepare for the next group. You will only have 15 minutes in the dressing room after your ice time.

Thank you in advance,
TMHI Board of Directors
