Good Afternoon IP Parents,
We are fast approaching the start of another hockey season and like all of you, we're excited to get things underway!
We are hosting a Parent Information night on
Monday, September 18th at 7pm in the Marwood Lounge in the Community Centre for all parents new to Tillsonburg Minor Hockey and also anyone able to or considering volunteering attend this meeting.
The official start of the season for our youngest skaters will be Saturday, October 1. The Tillsonburg Minor Hockey website already has the schedule available from now until the end of December. We encourage everyone to check it out, find the division your child is playing in, get familiar with it and reference it regularly throughout the year. During the meeting, we can help parents with navigating the website and becoming familiar with it.
As we prepare to get the kids on the ice, we are putting a call out for coaches and on-ice volunteers to help out for the 2023-24 hockey season.
In order to give the kids the best possible experience, we want to ensure we have the coaches and volunteers to make that happen. From our U5 to U8 divisions, any volunteer willing to help out tying skates, getting kids ready, helping out on the ice or leading practices as the coach, please contact Tyler Brooks directly to ensure we get all of the proper paperwork completed including police checks and volunteer declarations.
