U9 Lightning Perform Well at Hocktoberfest!
The U9 Tillsonburg Lightning had a busy day of hockey. In their opening game, the team faced a formidable opponent in the Huron Heat. Sarah McCutchen tended the goal and kept the score to a respectable margin earning player of the game nods. The team followed up a tough opening game with a fantastic effort against the tournament hosts Central Perth Predators. Nevaeh Mathews took home player of the game with her great all around play. The team ended the day with a convincing effort against the South Huron Thunder. Brenna Ferguson was award player of the game by the opposing team. The day provided a great opportunity for team bonding. An amazing effort from all players!
