Congrats to our U11 LL1 - Optometrists on Broadway
The heart and determination of these boys this season has
been incredible!
This weekend, on home ice the world had a chance to
watch! Missing our starting goalie, starting a player who has never
played goalie before, we went 2-0-1 in the round robin.
Sunday morning, down
3-2 with less than 5 minutes to go in our semi-final our boys stepped it up a
notch, and got 2 quick goals, winning our semi-final game against Aylmer.
In the finals, after falling behind 2-0 these boys left
everything on the ice, and played hard to tie the game back up. Then, in an
epic OT, they WON the finals 4-3 against Tavistock!!!
