On Sunday afternoon Tillsonburg played host to the Waterford Wildcats for the second regular season game.
The Tornadoes came out a little slow and scrambled in the first period, although maintaining good puck possession, fell behind 1-0 at the 4:46 mark. This seemed to serve as a wake up call for the boys as their play sharpened and Tillsonburg responded at 1:51 to end the first period all tied up

The second period featured a lot more focused, puck moving style by the Tornadoes that resulted in numerous scoring chances and goals. The team effort from the net out led to helping Sean B. complete the natural Hat Trick!

The third was a continuation of the solid passing and puck movement efforts that allowed for more scoring. Tillsonburg found their groove with the defence playing strong through the neutral zone and the offence making smart passes and looking for the best scoring chance. Matthew F. completed his Hat Trick too!

Ryan M. made his first start of the season for the win and although he was not called on that often he made several solid saves when called upon.
The team still has a lot of room for improvement on their breakouts and puck movement to use the whole ice but its been a good start.
